David Kydd is the Clinical Director in overall charge of medical services and client and patient care. He qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from London in 1984 and also holds RCVS Certificates in Veterinary Radiology and in Small Animal Orthopaedics. In March 2015 David was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) in Small Animal Orthopaedics. Alongside his first opinion caseload, David runs a successful orthopaedic referral service for surrounding veterinary practices. In his spare time David enjoys running, cycling and spending time with his family, his dog Emie and his two cats Coco and Rolo.

Susan Kydd qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1977. In addition she has a Certificate in Management Studies, and a Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management. She has been working in the practice since 1990. Susan looks after the management of the practice including the Employment, Contractual and Payroll Management, Financial Management, Health & Safety, Practice Standards, Protocols and Marketing as well as the daily management and general running of the Veterinary Centre.

Caroline joined the team in April 2015 and she comes to us with a background in small animal practice. Caroline has a strong interest in small animal surgery and she enjoys all aspects of first opinion veterinary medicine. When she is away from the practice Caroline enjoys snow skiing, horse riding and playing hockey and squash!

Fiona has been a qualified veterinary nurse since 1987 and has spent the majority of her career here at Kydd and Kydd. As well as being a very experienced nurse, Fiona is also an Assessor and Clinical Coach for our student nurses when they are here on placement from Middlesex University. Fiona also has further qualifications in Small Animal Nutrition and Management Studies. Away from work, Fiona spends much of her free time either at the stables taking care of her two ponies or teaching her delightful Parson Russell Terrier "Poppy", new tricks!

Vicky has been with Kydd and Kydd since 2004. Starting as a Saturday girl, progressing to full time nurses assistant and then to trainee veterinary nurse. Vicky studied really hard to achieve her RCVS veterinary nursing qualification during the summer of 2009. She is one of the many successful students who has progressed at the practice. Vicky enjoys assisting in theatre and is developing her knowledge of companion animal behaviour. She recently completed her Nurses Certificate in Animal Behaviour and is putting her knowledge to good use with her two cheeky litlle Jack Russell Terriers Tilly and Alfie. In October 2014 Vicky was promoted to Deputy Head Nurse and takes on a greater responsibility within the nursing team (in particular the theatre area).

Kara has been assisting the team at Kydd and Kydd since January 2008. She joined the team as a nurses assistant providing the all important TLC for our inpatients. Kara went on to become one of our reception team assisting clients with their appointment requirements and other enquiries. Earlier in 2014 Kara was promoted to Head receptionist and ensures the efficient running of the reception area. She can assist you with appointment enquiries and general information regarding the practice. In her spare time Kara has her hands full with her young son, two dogs and one cat!

Stephanie joined the team in June 2011 initially to cover for maternity leave. We are delighted that she accepted the offer to stay on permanently in 2012. Stephanie is very involved in the nurses clinics and has a particular interest in the welfare of diabetic animals.

Megan first came to Kydd and Kydd as a degree student on placement in 2013. She completed several blocks of practical training here with guidance from one of our Clinical Coaches Amie Webber. Megan qualified in July 2016 with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing and joined the nursing team full time. On the nursing side Megan has a special interest in surgical nursing and would like to further her knowledge in animal physiotherapy. In her spare time Megan successfully competes in Flyball competitions with her dogs Shadow, Ivy, Cody and Tia.

Florence joined our team in December 2013 as a nurses assistant and then went on to become a student nurse within the practice, qualifying in 2017 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. We are really pleased she decided to then remain with us as a qualified nurse. At home Florence has her own very beautiful chocolate tabby point Siamese cat.

Sofia joined Kydd and Kydd in August after qualifying as a registered Veterinary Nurse in July from Middlesex University. She moved from Sweden in 2014 and has lived in London for three years. In her spare time Sofia likes to travel, go snowboarding and read. Sofia does not have any animals of her own right now but sees herself surrounded by dogs and cats in the future.

Katie joined our reception team in 2015. As well as a busy family life, she has two cats and an energetic young Chihuahua puppy to keep her busy when she is away from the reception desk.
